1. Mr Yeong Zee Kin will speak on how COVID-19 has accelerated digital transformation and reshaped the way businesses work. In light of such transition, he will touch on the opportunities available to empower businesses to navigate their data protection capabilities.
2. Mr Jason Teo will discuss the Data Protection-as-a-Service (DPaaS) programme which is a key initiative of the InfoComm Media Development Authority to strengthen organisation data protection capability. He will explain how the DPaaS makes it easier for companies (in particular SMEs) to comply with the obligations of the PDPA. Lawyers will get to know how providing DPaaS could help their firms diversify their services and lead to new business opportunities.
3. Mr Chong Tack Chun will introduce the various job roles available to support Data Protection in enterprises. He will delve into the competencies in the development roadmap that will improve one’s knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition, he will outline and explain the IMDA’s programme which is designed to develop manpower capability for enterprises in order to develop these job roles.
