Who has not seen one of the science fiction movies where robots rule human mankind. Will it become reality or remain science fiction? Smart nations like Singapore foster innovation and emerging technologies to make life better and more convenient. In today’s interaction a lot of prior manually done tasks are already executed by robots. Often robotics are such an integral part of the business, that from the outside it cannot be seen. On the other hand, even more advanced sectors like the financial service industry are not yet fully automated and often use systems and processes from the last century. This lunch talk will give insights from a practitioner’s view into the different applications of RPA, Robo-advisors and chatbots, examples of when and where they can best be applied, what are the opportunities and potential risks and how can they be of use for the legal profession and your specific business, be it directly or indirectly in form of legal advice.
Speaker : Ms Claudia Marcusson, LL.M., M.Sc.
Facilitator: Mr Khoo Yong Jie
