About the Conference
THE UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific and the Asian Business Law Institute will jointly host the Emergence Conference 2018 on 25 July 2018 in Singapore at the Supreme Court of Singapore.
The Emergence Conference 2018 is designed to take stock of emerging global and regional developments relating to the harmonization and convergence of international trade and commercial law, with a focus on their impact on regionalisation, especially for Asia. The conference is intended to provide a platform for experts and scholars to examine the impact of these developments especially on regional and national business environments, and to consider various areas of potential interest for UNCITRAL and ABLI from a regional perspective.
The conference invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to share their insightful opinions and research on these topics and to engage in an international dialogue on the potential contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Conference is now inviting paper proposals/abstracts for review. Click here for more information.
Registration for the conference is free of charge.
However, accepted speakers and participants in the conference are required to complete a registration form in advance and obtain confirmation in order to secure a place in the conference.
The closing date for (free) registration for participation in the Conference is: 20 July 2018 (extended!)
